Here is some information about Titles Descriptions
and Keywords and why they are so important
When search engines scour the net to find relevancy, the Title
is the most important piece of information. Make the title of each
page similar to the home page, but with different keywords for each
page so that search engines will point different users looking for
different topics to the appropriate page of your site. The Title
of your page should not be much longer than 10 words
The next important thing to add is a description. These should
be different for each page. It is the best way to have people click
on your link because it draws the person's attention towards it
when the search engine results come up. Do a search for something
on Google or Yahoo and notice the descriptions below the title for
each result. Do they grab your attention? Do they make you want
to select that page or does it look like confusing text? You will
be most effective if the description is short, sweet, to the point
and easily readable. The description for each page should be different,
should include instances of your most important keywords and should
be 1 to 2 sentences long.
Lastly, we need keywords. Choose the 3 best keywords and
list them first, then add another 10-20 keywords that will be important,
but less so than the top three. These top three keywords should
be listed in the title and description as well. A keyword can actually
be multiple words. Whatever is in between the commas is considered
a keyword. Below is an example of three (just three) keywords.
Sprinkler, Sprinkler systems, West Michigan Sprinkler Systems
It is up to you to determine what keywords your customers might
type in a search engine and make those your keywords. >>

This is an example (just an example) of what the
home page Meta tags could be for your site
TITLE: RV World: West
Michigan premier RV Sales and Service
DESCRIPTION: For over 20 years,
West Michigan has relied on RV World for all of their
RV sales and service needs. Fifth wheel, camper,
trailer and truck bed campers too! When you're looking
to buy a Recreational Vehicle, see why we are known
for Service after the Sale!
KEYWORDS: RV, Recreational Vehicle,
Michigan, West Michigan, Fifth Wheel, Camper, Trailer, Truck Bed
Camper, Sales, Service, Coopersville, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Ludington,
Grand Haven, Rockwood, Lance, Sunnybrook, Nomad
I've put some keywords in bold so you can see the repetition.Your
first 3 keywords are the most important and they should be repeated
a couple times (not more than 3 times) in both the Title and Description.
Naturally, we don't know what words you would use and the description
in this case doesn't have a lot of flow, but remember, you want
your top keywords in all three. Also, it might benefit your site
to add different geographical areas and manufacturer's in the keywords
so that if someone types "Michigan Rockwood RV" you would
have a better chance coming up because Michigan is in all three
(title, descrip, keywords) Rockwood is a keyword and RV is in all
three.

CCS Technologies now offers web hosting
plans through our WebsiteSource partner! We
can easily walk you through this first crucial step of getting
your site online. Be aware that many "budget" hosting
services do not offer one very important element...live support.
To keep prices low, many companies do the majority of their tech
support through E-Mail. This is a cumbersome and time-consuming
process. We believe that the best way to support our customers
is by phone with a real person. Consider using CCS as your web
hosting solution and save yourself the aggravation.
